Dear Climbing Enthusiast,
Thank you for your interest in the 5.10 Climbing Club, an organization
of initiated*, rock-climbing enthusiasts interested in pursuing some of
the world's ultimate, classic rock climbs.
The 5.10 Climbing Club is based in Tempe, Arizona, USA. Arizona is known
for some of the best year-round climbing in the world! There are granite
domes, sandstone spires, roadside crags and remote wilderness peaks --
routes to captivate beginners and challenge the most accomplished
climbers. To name a few areas, there are the Superstition Mountains,
Granite Mountain, Cochise Stronghold, Mount Lemmon, Queen Creek, the
Overlook, the Pit, and Paradise Forks, plus many, many areas in and
around Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott and Sedona. Too, Arizona is
within reasonable travel distance to areas such as the Red Rocks of
Nevada, Joshua Tree in California, and the sandstone of Utah.
The goal of the 5.10 Climbing Club is to offer each member
high-adrenaline adventure. This is facilitated through free-style,
traditional, multi-pitch classic climbing expeditions, while employing
the highest industry-accepted safety standards and procedures. The club
does not offer sport-climb outings per se, however, there are many
extra, non-trad activities during the week and weekend occurring
extemporaneously by individual members. Anyone desiring to team-up
should first join the club by entering an email address at the left,
then clicking "ListBot".
There are no membership dues because the club does not have any on-going
expenses, except for the cost of outings, which are paid for entirely by
member participants.
To become a 5.10 Climbing Club Member (free of charge, of course),
simply enter your email address at the left, then click on "ListBot".
